“Waiting in the Shadows, Nocturnal Witchcraft”

Nocturnal Witchcraft…

What comes to mind when you hear that title? Errie, Black Magick that is summoned up from the darkest corners of the deepest black pits of the Universe… Where the souless undead roam and macebre spirits wander…

Yeah, this is not Nocturnal Witchcraft.

This type of practice is to perform Magickal Spells and/or Rituals during the hours of the Night. This doesnt automatically make Nocturnal Witchcraft an “EVIL” practice.

One of my first practices I started out with when first learning the Craft. Nocturnal Practices are performed by individuals that are drawen to the Night, the Moon, and Lunar Energies.

In my late teens after graduating highschool I often felt more comfortable and alive during hours of the Night when the world was most quiet. My fondest memories of when I was a “Night Owl” was around the time I would be heading into my bed. Although I loved the stillness and quietness of the Nightly World, when the Sun would start to peak over the horizsen, it was always so beautiful.

I remember sitting out in our yard during Dawn, watching the sun start to rise over the trees gazing in “aw” like wonder at the scenery in front of myself. Remembering the feelings “vampires” most alway would express about how the Sun was no longer a part of their lifes, this was not there world… At least anymore.

But appearantly this was not unusual behavior for me. Being that my SunSign in my Astrology Birthchart is Scorpio/Water, and Scorpios are best known to be Nocturnal Beings and they make the best Nocturnal Witches as well, or so Ive heard. As the moon moves across the sky, it passes through the various zodiac signs, primarily affecting our moods and reactions. Those who have a sun sign align to the water element (Scorpio, Piecese, Cancer) will feel this effect most strongly.

Nocturnal Witchcraft Practices:

Before I get into the practices I want to say that in no way do I speak for all Nocturnal Witches. These Practices are from my own expeiences and I hope you find them helpful and informative and that you too enjoy them as well.

I find that working with the Moon Phases is incorperated with Nocturnal Witchcraft. Each Moon Phase can help assist with different situations that goes on in our lifes.

Many witches choose to time their spells based on moon phase. Generally, spells for gain or increase are done during the waxing moon while spells for banishing or decrease are done during the waning moon.

Some witches also choose to cast their spells based on the zodiac sign through which the moon is traveling. One might choose to do a spell associated with lunar energy when the moon was in the zodiac sign ruled by the moon being Cancer.

Working with the Moon and Lunar Energies can help assist with
Cycles, emotions, secrets, divination, divine feminine, your feminine side, the subconscious, dreams and dream work, finding a path, hidden intentions. Not to shabby of a practice, huh?

“6 steps to Begin on your Magickal Witchy Path”

Free Website Visitors

If you are reading this then you might have been thinking about how to start your journey on how to become a Witch. In this post I explain the first 6 Steps to take when begining on your path to Magick! Let’s begin…

Step 1) Find out why you want to become a Witch?

Why do you want to become a Witch? What is it with Witchcraft that interest you? These answers might come right to you. If they do thats Great! But If they dont, not to worry.

I suggest to meditate on these questions. It might be days before you discover the answers to why you want to become a Witch and that is completely fine. The more you meditate on these questions the better idea you will have of why you want to journey down this Magickal Path.

When I say “meditate” you might be thinking to yourself that you are not quite sure on how to do this. What I mean is find a quite place where you dont have to worry about being disturbed, where there are few to no noises as possiable.

Find somewhere comfortable in this space and just sit there thinking on these questions. You might find it helpful to have a notepad and writing utinsel handy to write down anything that comes to you.

For myself I enjoy having a warm cup of tea, I find it helps to relax and calm my body and mind. Also closing my eyes helps when I am reaching deep within myself for answers.

Step 2) What do you expect to gain from learning the Craft?

What are you hoping to achieve from Witchcraft? If you are hoping to learn how to fly on a broomstick or shoot lightning out of your finger tips than most likely you will be disappointade.

But if you are wanting to learn how to become a more balanced person, connect with nature, learn to communicate with spirits and your past Ancestors and learn how to open your own Intuition than this path might be for you.

Step 3)  Learn the Basics

After learning why you want to become a Witch and what it is you expect to gain from the Craft next is to learn the Basics of the Craft. What Witchcraft tradition/s are you most drawn to? If you dont know or are not quite sure here is a link profided by Bev. G on Exemplore of “60 Witchcraft Tradition” that you can look over and than decide which one best suites you.

If you like more than one tradition dont stress over it. The beauty of Witchcraft is that you do not have to strickly stick to one practice. You can draw from different practices that you find best fits you. I do this myself in my own practice. Witches that draw from different traditions are known as Eclectic Witches.

Step 4)  PRACTICE!

This step is very important. You must practice your craft in order to grow and become better at it. We all know that saying “Practice makes Perfect”, this saying nails it right on the head. Witchcraft is a practice. You will not master it over night and thats alright. I have been practicing Witchcraft for 14 years now and even though I know more than I use to I have still yet to master any of my practices.

More than likely any practice you decide to learn from will not be mastered because there is so much to learn from Witchcraft and it is a very ancient practice. Dont let that discourage you. Witchcraft isnt about mastering a practice but about learning life experiences from the practices you choose to take part in.

Step 5) Connect with Nature

How you can intertwine Witchcraft into your every day life. One way you can live a witchy everyday life is to connect with Nature.

For me when I feel like I am lacking Magick in my life or I just need a boost. I really enjoy going for a hike in the woods. If you dont have woods where you live going for a hike in nature period should get you feeling more connect to all the magick that surrounds you.

What elements of Nature do you feel most connected to? Maybe taking a stroll around a body of water helps you feel more connected, or spending time near a camp/bon fire or even visiting a windy hill top. Connecting with Nature can be a refreshing Magickal experience.

Step 6)  Have Fun with it

The most imporant thing to remember is to have fun with your practices. Just enjoy your experiences. You might come across someone that feels like you are not persuing your practices correctly and that might be true to them but if the way you perform your practices feels right to you just keep at it. You are not doing this for them or anyone else so I would advise just hearing them out and simply explaining to them that that might be how they feel but this is how you like to perform you own practice. If they still continue to say your wrong try to change the topic and leave it be.

This has been “6 steps to begin on your Magickal Witchy Path”. I hope you found it helpful and informative.

If you have any questions or comments please leave them below or message me in the Contacts Page.

“That Elemental Witch!”

My story of why I am attracted to the Elements, What the 5 Elements are, Elements and history, Calling the 4 Corners, and more.

My Story:

Ever since I was a child I have felt different from the other kids, to be honest I still feel different from others till this day. The difference is I have a better understanding of why.

I have always felt this other worldly connection that I could never explain. My teachers in school as well as other adults would mark it up to be that I was just a deep day dreamer. Later on in my early 20’s I would finally realise that what I have been “feeling” my whole life is Magick. My abilities or gifts started to flourish in my late teens.

Seeing Shadow People, Vivid real dreams, Seeing the Energy or Auras that surrounds anything living, Candles Flames that danced and jumped when ever Im near by, Sensing something is wrong or not a good idea before it happens. I know all of these situations sound SO out there and probably weird but I learned that these situations are not so weird and lots of people actually experience them. I learned this through the magick of the Elements.

But! Why do I enjoy Elemental Magick?? I feel a strong connection to them, the same feeling I remeber having as a child. It is like a natural calling for me. It just feels right.

Why is Elemental Magick a terrific practice to learn? Lets find out!

What are the 5 Elements?

Some people might argue that only 4 Elements excist. Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. Well those people might not be aware that there is a 5th Element. No, not like the movie from 1997 with Milla Jovovich and Bruce Willis running around fighting aliens, all though it is a great movie. The 5th Element is Spirit.

Mackenzie Sage Wright, A Wiccan of 25 years, Blogger on Exemplore and teacher of NeoPaganism explains in her artical “Elemental Powers and Finding your Wiccan Element” that the Elements are more than their physical forms, dirt, H20, oxygen, and flames. The Elements also represent Personality traits, Masculine or Feminine Energy.

Basic Element Info:

AirMasculine, projective element
connected to rational thought, the mind,
intellect, wisdom, communication,
etc.
Corresponding to the
North, the winter
season, middle of the
night.
EarthFeminine, receptive, connected to
stability, practicality, materialism, the
physical world, etc.
Corresponding to the East, to the
spring season, to
sunrise time,
FireMasculine, projective,
connected to
the will, passion, creativity,
etc.
Corresponding to the
South, to the summer
season,
to midday (noon).
WaterFeminine, receptive,
connected to the
emotions, intuition,
mysterious, the
subconscious, etc.
Corresponding to the
West, to the fall season, to twilight time.

The 5 Elements have been around since the dawn of time. During the 16th century, the Renaissance in Europe, Alckemist and Occult practioners made recordes about the Elements. Paracelsus, born Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, was a Swiss German physician, chemist, botanist, alchemist, astrologer and general occultist who is famous for his iconoclastic rebellion against the conservative medical orthodoxy of his day, as well as for his bold, new ideas in medicine explained the Spirits of the Elements.

Gnomes corresponded to Earth

Undines to Water

Sylphs to Air

Salamanders to Fire

Humans to Spirit

Rosicrucians, 17th Century esoteric order deeply believed the Elements Spirits could be seen by us humans. They focused on both the Physical and Spiritual Realms through Occult Philosophies.

After learning more about the amazing Elements let learn how to call them!

Elements have associated Colors, Directions, Stones, Plants, etc. Using tools that represent a specific Element improves the overall effect of your working.

Working with tools that relates or represents an Element creates an ideal enviroment and honors the Elements presence.

“Bone Throwing, Predicting your Future”

Free YouTube Subscribers & Video Likes

Bone throwing, a very old form of Divination that can be found in numerous cultures throuhout the world.

It is not a Divination Method that belongs to any particular culture or religion.

Throwing Bones are a set of tools used to read fortunes. Usually consist of bones, shells, trinkets, and other miscellanies.

No set are alike, each Witch crafts and collects their “bones” based on their own throwing style.

I created this post because someone reached out to me on Pagans and Witches, an app for people that are Pagan and/or Witches. They asked for my advice saying they wanted to learn about Bone Throwing but their family and friends frowned upon it. Of course I advised to them not to discuss topics like this with them if they are not confortable with such topics. But when they askd for my advise I was not sure what Bone Throwing was, after doing my research I was even more intrigued to learn more about this topic.

So much that I crafted my very own Bone Throwing Kit!

After digging up my facts and info to learn more about Bone Throwing I kept coming across that Bone Throwing is not a HOT TOPIC of Divination or maybe a lot of people are just not aware of this technique like myself which lead me to create this post even more. Also Bone Throwing DOES NOT invovle HUMAN BONES just to clear that up.

Bone Throwing Rocks! Let’s learn to predict our Futures.

How does one use Bone throwing to predict their Future?! Lets find out.

Your Bone Throwing Kit can start out with 3 pieces, or even 5 pieces. After awhile you might be surprised with how much your Bone Throwing kit grows. You may end up with 20 pieces in your Kit. There are Witches that throw bones that have up to 100 items in there own Bone Throwing Kits! Dont worry about having that many items starting out. More than likely over time your own Kit will get to that point and if it does, Kudos! Thats Great! For now let focus on having 3 to 10 pieces.

Creating your own set should be FUN and INTUITIVE. You may discover all of your pieces quickly or it may take you a bit longer.

What items do you need??

First I do want to mention that if bones make you feel kind EWW! I have great news! A Bone Throwing Kit doesnt have to have bones. YES!

Your Kit can contain any items that call out to you. They can be buttons, a piece of wood, bottle caps, crystals, or shells, trinkets, keys, coins. When your not using your bone throwing kit it is best to have a pouch, bag, or box to keep your kit in so no pieces go missing. Pouches are real easy to make. To be honest I made a pouch for my Bone Throwing Kit out of a sock.

Let’s take a look at my very own Bone Throwing Kit, and since Im not squiemish about bones I do include them in my own Kit. Take a look…

Each of your items will represent something. You’ll want an item lager than the rest that will represent yourself. If you’d like you can refer back to the picture of my Bone Throwing kit.

Once you have your items for your kit for now you’ll want a Throwing Cloth. Your cloth will have 2 circles, an inner circle and an outter circle that surrounds the inner circle.

The inner circle represents what is directly involved with your question/s. When items fall in the inner circle they will tell you that they directly effect whats at question.

The outter circle are things that are indirectly involved but still effect whats at question.

And any items from your bone kit that land out side the outter circle dont factor in your question at hand.

After throwing your “Bones” and see where they land sit there and take it in. Dont over think it. Whats where? Quite your mind and let your intuition speak to you.

If you dont pick up on anything dont worry. Divination Practices take well, practice. Keep at it and you will start to tap into your wonderful Intuition.

This has been my post on “Bone Throwing, Predicting your Future”. I hope you found it helpful and informative. If you have any questions leave me a message in the comment box below or send me an E-MAIL in my Contacts Page.

“Candle Magick, An Ancient Practice”

Free Instagram Followers & Likes

Candle Magick has been around since the dawn of time, traced as far back as the Paleolithic era. It is a very powerful form of sympathetic magic. Sympathetic Magick is primitive or magical ritual using objects or actions resembling or symbolically associated with the event or person over which influence is sought

Sound AMAZING? You bet it does!

Candle Magick has been a calling for me ever since I discovered Witchcraft in 2005. One of the first practices I learned on my Witchy Spiritual Journey.

I really enjoy and love working with candles to assist me in casting my spells out to the Universe. So much I created this post so others can learn themself.

Why?

Because I believe it is a practice anyone and everyone would enjoy knowing and learn more about and you dont have to be a geniues to learn Candle Magick! Its EASY to pick up on and it does not require expensive or unusual items in order to CAST! Sweet!

Before I continue on I do want to mention any unused/ unburned candle will do to start casting with Candle Magick, also you can choose to use different types of colored candles that represent certain meanings when casting, this is popular in Candle Magick BUT! ANY COLOR CANDLE WILL WORK FINE FOR ANY SITUATION YOU MIGHT HAVE. I mention using a candle thats never been lit for previous spells espescially because it could create complications between the different spells. When you choose a candle for spell work you personalize that candle specifically for THAT SPELL.

Ill explain more below.

So even though its not a HUGE deal using certain colored candles for certain situations, I like to. Usually when my Witchy candle supply is scarce is when I will use what I have for the situation at hand, not worrying about candle color.

After saying all that lets find out what candle color represent WHAT??

Color Candle Meanings:

  1. White candles– Destruction of negative energy, peace, truth and purity
  2. Purple candles– Spiritual awareness, wisdom, tranquility
  3. Lavender Candles– Intuition, Paranormal, Peace, Healing
  4. Blue and Deep Blue Candles– Meditation, Healing, Forgiveness, Inspiration, Fidelity, Happiness, and opening lines of Communication.
  5. Green Candles– Money, Fertility, Luck, Abundance, Health (not to be used when diagnosed with Cancer), Success
  6. Rose and Pink Colored Candles– Positive self love, friendship, harmony, joy
  7. Yellow Candles– Realizing and manifesting thoughts, confidence, bringing plans into action, creativity, intelligence, mental clarity, clairvoyance.
  8. Orange Candles– Joy, energy, education, strength attraction, stimulation
  9. Red or Deep red Candles– Passion, energy, love, lust, relationships, sex, vitality, courage.
  10. Black Candles– Protection, absorption and destruction of negative energy and also repelling negative energy from others
  11. Silver candle– Goddess or feminine energy, remove negativity, psychic development
  12. Gold candle– Male energy, Solar energy, fortune, spiritual attainment,

Why does Candle Color meanings mean somthing to me and others??

You might not be aware of this and thats defenitaly ok but different colors have different frequencies which have different effects on the Human Psyche.

Right?!

I love this about colors I even choose what I wear for the day depending on the effect my psyche will have based on the colors of my outfit.

After discussing about using never been lit candles and why colors can matter lets discuss the steps to creating your personal witchy candle!

Steps (in order) to preping your Spell Candle before Casting:

  • Cleanse your candle to remove negative or psychic energies, you can do this by holding your candle over incense smoke or sage smoke, leave candle in moon light all night, or bury in salt.
  • Anoint your candle with oil to imprint your intentions onto your candle, doing this helps your spell to be more powerful and effective. To Anoint decide if your wanting to Attract somthing into your life or Rid of something. To attract start at TOP of candle and rub down to BOTTOM of candle. Do the oppisite to rid. While rubbing candle focus on your goal and visualize what it is you wish to accomplish
  • Carve your name, birthday or event date, etc on to your candle. This sends intention to the universe
  • Lastly roll and/or sprinkle herbs all over your candle to get extra charge towards your spell.

After doing all that…

VOILA! Your candle is now ready for your spell to be casted!

This has been “Candle Magick,
An Ancient Practice” with Tea’s Twigg & Staff! I hope you enjoyed, learned a lot and found it to being helpful and informative.

“Scrying, more than Crystal Gazing”

Free Twitter Followers

Scrying. What is it? Is it what it sounds like? Staring out at the sky? Well not necessarily.

Scrying also known as Hydromancy, Crystal Gazing, and Oculomancy is a Esoteric Practice.

Esoteric Practices are a special, unusual, or rare practice that many people dont take part in.

More so Scrying is a type of DIVINATION TECHNIQUE. Divination is
the practice of seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by supernatural means.

So why would someone want to learn how to scry??

Have you ever wondered about future events or had a question you really wanted an answer to now rather then later? Well Scrying or other divination techniques can help the indivisual to find out the answers to their questions at hand. Scrying helps to get in touch with the unconscious mind. If you are struggling to find direction, the meaning or purpose in life Scrying could help you to discover your inner needs.

To be honest Scrying is a wonderful Divination Technique but it is not one that I have really practiced myself. A friend of mine admitted to having interest in this practice and asked if I would create a post on it so they could learn more about it. Well as someone that blogs on these types of topics there was no way I could turn them away by saying no.

Even though I havent practiced Scrying myself doesnt mean I dont use other types of Divination Practices.

Types of Divination I have used and still use today:

Tarot card readings:

Tarot divination is a form of cartomancy (card divination) which uses special Tarot cards. Tarot cards are similar to playing cards in that they have four suits (Wands, Cups, Swords, and Coins) plus Court Cards (Kings, Queens, Knights, and Pages). Unlike playing cards, Tarot cards have 22 extra cards including Death, The Devil, and The Lovers.

Astrology:

Astrology is divination using the movement of the planets and stars. Of all methods and forms of fortune-telling, Astrology is the most famous and probably the most widely practiced.

Automatic Writing:

Automatic Writing is a straightforward type of divination. All you have to do is grab a pen and paper, clear your mind, then let the words flow out of you. Some practitioners claim that during Automatic Writing, they channel messages from spirits, their true selves, and even otherworldly beings.

Palmistry:

Palmistry is divination by reading someone’s hand. For as long as there has been recorded history, humans have attached spiritual significance to their hands.

Dream:

Because dreaming is natural, dream interpretation is possibly one of the most ancient methods of divination. It is only human nature to have a dream and then wonder what the significance is behind it. Assigning spiritual significance to dreams has been practiced throughout history.

Pendulum:

One of the great things about a pendulum reading is that a pendulum can give you a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer to any questions you might have.

So after practicing these amazing Divination Techniques throughout my Spiritual Journey with Witchcraft how could I turn down learning another awesome practice? The answer is I couldnt.

Since I couldnt turn down the request lets learn more about this great Divination Technique!

How is Scrying performed?

Scrying is performed using reflective surfaces like Mirrors, Water, or Crystal ball.

Who doesnt love working with shinny materials?

Scrying Exercise for Beginners:

Find a reflective service traditionally a Mirror, bowl of Water, or a strip of shinny Metal.

Prepare your space. Go to a quiet space with no distractions.

Set your scrying tool on a stable, flat service. Sit down in front of it, close your eyes and start to calm your mind. Let go of any stressful or confusing thoughts.

Form a purpose. Concentrate on the purpose or topic for which you want to perform a scrying. Think about your topic for a few minutes.

Open your eyes.

Look at your scrying tool and imagine that your physical eyes are sharing a beam of light with the reflective service.

What did you see??

Some people see physical manifestations, others see symbols. If you didnt see anything not to worry. This is not unusual. Try again the next day. Keeping at it and practice is key. With everything practice is necessary. After practicing a bit you should be able to start picking up on imagies, symbols and maybe even manifestations as well!

This has been my post on Scrying. I hope you enjoyed the read and enjoy practicing Scrying yourself and who knows maybe the other divination techniques I mentioned also caught your eye. Remember to keep at it. Practice makes perfect and HAVE FUN WITH IT!

If you have any questions leave me a message in the comments below. I’d love to hear back from you. Let me know how Scrying is coming along for you!

Come back every Wednesday and Sundays for NEW POST!

Until then Blessed Be!

“Learn to Enchant, The Enchanter/Enchantress”

Free Retweets

Learn how to transform everyday objects with your craft, charging them with your personal magick turning normal, average items into useful magickal tools!

How to Enchant for Beginners:

First of all What is an Enchantment??? Let dive in and find out!

An Enchantment is a simple spell or spells that are casted onto items known as Charms, Enchantments depend on the Witches energy. Enchantments are practical spells that have the personal touch of the Witch.

What all does one need to Enchant an item?

The greatness about Enchanting is that you dont need EXPENSIVE or HARD TO FIND TOOLS in order to Enchant! Talk about AWESOME!! I am all about affordable and everyday Witchy Practices.

3 things that are NEEDED to enchant an item:

  • Will (must be clear)
  • Focus (the stronger the better)
  • Energy (energy should be calm and collected)

Anything else that can be used for Enchanting is completely OPTIONAL.

Why would you choose to use other tools while Enchanting?? Hmm…

Reasons for using tools while Enchanting. The reason you might use tools while enchanting is because the tools help symbolize your WILL, help your FOCUS, or better your current ENERGY.

When Enchanting:

Consecrate the item you have decided to Enchant first. Why is this important? One, it purifies the item before it is used to interact with the Divine. Secondly, it removes any negative energies from the tool. Also clairify what it is you want to achieve with the Enchanted Charm.

If you feel the energy is getting weaker with your Enchanted item you can always re-enchant the item anytime. The only time you would not want to re-enchant an item is if it get damaged, torn, ruined.

Ways to Enchant:

  1. Hold item in your hands and VISULIZE it filling with the appropriate energy. OR
  2. Hold the item in your hands and SPEAK your intent aloud.

You can also use Crystals and/or Herbs with corresponding intent to assist you with Enchanting

Working with The MOON PHASES while Enchanting:

This next step is TOTALLY OPTIONAL. If you are interested with working with the moon to add some extra OMMPH! to your Enchantments check this next step out.

The Moon is one of the most POWERFUL forces around. The Moon controls the ocean tides, effects menstrual cycles, our moods, and even our Magick!

Not all Witches work with the Moon and that is completely fine. But for Witches that do believe that the Moon lends Lunar Energy boost to their Magick.

Talk about a POWER BOOST!

You might be asking, “When do you work with certain Moon Phases?” Not to worry I am fixing to explain it. Come with me as we explore the Lunar Phases! SWEET!

Dark Moon: Best time to destroy/ banish VERY NEGATIVE things such as addictions or serious diseases. Also best time to soul search or use divination.

Waxing Cresent: Best time to build on things or to bring things into your life.

First Quarter: Moon Energy most conductive to attraction. Best time to draw things outside of yourself to you.

Waxing Gibbous: Best time to use Magick to finish/ complete a project.

Full Moon: Most POWERFUL ENERGY. All-purpose Magick, attract or banish at this phase.

Waning Moon: Cast Magic to get rid of anything that no longer serves you.

Last Quarter moon: Cast to rid obstacles in your life that are getting in your way.

Waning Cresent: Clear your life of any stress, strife, or chaos, etc.

I hope you enjoyed and found my post helpful and informative on how to enchant items and enchanting while working with the Moon Phases. If you have any question shoot me a comment. Id love to hear back from you.

Until then Bless it be.

“Witchery Basics 101”

Free YouTube Subscribers & Video Likes

Hello fellow witchies! First off I always like to thank you, the reader for taking time out of your day to visit my inspirational blog.

In “Witchery Basics 101” I will discuss what you need to create your own MAGICK! , what ALTAR TOOLS are all about and DO YOU REALLY NEED AN ALTAR to create magick??

In my “Introduction” page I mention the definition of Witchcraft BUT! what all does one need to become a witch?!? Are you ready to hear this?

Yourself and Your intent!

Magick requires Imagination and Will. What you Think can and probably will become your reality. Think of “The Law of Attraction” for an example. What you think and do becomes your own reality.

Soo if you look at the world in a positive light, state of mind your chances of living a comfortable, more enjoyable life GREATLY INCREASES rather than being someone of negativity and holding onto grudges, past hurt feelings are more likely to have GREATER chances of living a NOT SO ENJOYABLE LIFE and honestly who wants a life that cant be enjoyed??

Three easy steps to remember when proforming Magick and creating the LIFE you want:

Step 1) THINK IT.

Step 2) VISUALIZE IT.

Step 3) PERSUE IT.

Magick is the magical manipulation of energy to bring about change. You see our bodies are surrounded by energy, known as Aura and everything that exist is connected by ENERGY. This is why the three steps work. When you think of something and visualize the thought it can and will become real even if you didnt intended for it to happen, known as “The Law of Atrraction”, Cause and effect result.

Lets discuss some basics of Witchcraft practices and tools that can help with what I will discuss and offer on Tea’s Twigg & Staff! So I just discussed that tools are not necessary to create Magick because Magick resides inside of us all. BUT! tools can assist us in our Witchy work and I do enjoy working with magick tools myself. I want to add that I am pretty much a Thrifty Witch and the tools and ingridients for the practices I do can easily be picked up at any local shops near you at low prices. Honestly majority of my own tools I came across were found outside or cost less than $3.00 an item!  I enjoy working with RAW NATURAL TOOLS such as Crystals, Feathers, Seashells, Plants/Herbs. The most expensive item on my altar is my Book of Shadows, I spent $10.00 on it! I only stress not having to break your wallet to have magick altar tools and supplies because when I was starting out on my own journey with the craft I believed that I needed all these EXTRAVAGANT ITEMS to create magick, WHICH IS NOT TRUE.

Some Basic Altar Tools you can choose to have:

  • Candles, Used to invoke
  • Incense holder, Cleanse area energetically, shift consciousness
  • Oil burner, Same as incense holder
  • An item representing one or more Deities, Holds vibrations of Divine
  • Wand, Divination and channeling magickal energies
  • Candle holder, Protects altar cloth
  • Book of Shadows, Holds your spells, rituals, etc
  • Chalice (cup) ,Offerings
  • Athame (dagger type weapon) ,Helps direct Energy
  • Cauldron, Holds witches brews or burn loose herbs
  • Crystals, Helps with grounding

Why would you use Altar tools to assist you in magick??

Having magickal tools at hand can make you the witch focused, disciplined and aware when practicing ritual or magickal workings.

Now that I have discussed using magick tools also known as ALTAR TOOLS not being necessary but a GREAT addition with assisting us with our magick practices I should also mention…

Does being a Witch mean you need to use an ALTAR??

You do not need an altar to practice/create magick. An altar is a space you can choose to keep your altar tools on. Some altars are dedicated to Deities. For myself my altar is set up to honor the 5 ELEMENTS. Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Spirit. I use my altar to leave my altar tools on and me personally I cast spells only at my altar.

If having an Altar sounds like something you’d like to persue thats awesome! If not theres nothing wrong with that either.

This has been my post on “Witchery Basics 101” We learned a lot. Creating magick from within ourselves, Magick altar tools being useful, afforable but not needed and what an altar is all about.

Thank you for reading!!

Return for new post weekly and Bless it be.

Until next time. Tea
